So this was going to be a Happy New Year post, about looking forward to the year ahead and telling you all that we have some excellent properties becoming available this month, which is all true and I stand by, so watch this space.
However, after today’s (4th Jan 2021) Coronavirus Health announcement by the Scottish Parliament, a short update for you all*.
Again, the news in short, home moves or activities undertaken in connection with moving home are permitted.
Shown here as ‘reasonable excuse’, under section 18 (k) of the PUBLIC HEALTH, The Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Restrictions and Requirements) (Local Levels) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 10), Regulations 2021
But what does this mean for viewing and letting a property with Home and Co? First, we’ll be viewing all of our available properties (did I mention we have some bloody lovely ones coming up this month? haha…) initially as virtual tours. Then only after a prospective tenant has requested a viewing in person and after necessary health checks will we move forward with viewing in person, with all the necessary precautions in place to keep prospective tenants, landlords and me safe.
If you are a landlord looking to chat about Home and Co managing your property? There are various options I can offer you, depending on your situation, from a simple chat over the phone, video calling, to meeting at your vacant property in person with precautions in place. I’m here to take the stress out of Property Management so here to help.
Stay safe, stay well, we’re in this together.
